Ingredients

  • 500 grams Nadura* Meat-Free Mince, defrosted
  • 100 grams Onion, diced
  • 50 grams Carrot, diced
  • 50 grams Celery
  • 15 grams Garlic, minced
  • 500 grams Tomato Passata 
  • 100 grams Tomato Paste 
  • 15 gram Olive Oil
  • 2 grams Dried Basil
  • 2 grams Dried Oregano
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 gram Sea Salt
  • 1 gram Ground Black Pepper
  • 300 ml Vegetable Stock

preparation

  1. In a bowl, combine the defrosted kebabs, onion, garlic, parsley, and 7-spice powder. Mix thoroughly to ensure the spices are evenly distributed.
  2. Slice the pitas in half and open them to create pockets. Stuff each pocket with 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture, ensuring they are filled but not overstuffed. Gently press down to flatten and spread the filling evenly to the edges.
  3. Lightly brush the outside of the pitas with olive oil on all sides.
  4. Arrange the pitas on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 15–18 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Alternatively, grill the pitas in a pan over medium heat for 6–8 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve with a drizzle of herb tahini sauce.
