Ingredients

  • 750 grams Nadura* Meat-Free Mince
  • 500 grams Canned Chopped Tomato
  • 300 grams White Onion, diced 
  • 250 grams Black Beans, cooked
  • 100 grams Tomato Paste
  • 20 grams Garlic, minced
  • 15 grams Avocado/Sunflower Oil
  • 5 grams Cocoa Powder
  • 3 grams Cumin Powder
  • 3 grams Smoked Paprika 
  • 2 grams Chili Powder
  • 1 gram Chili Flakes
  • 1 gram Salt
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 500 ml Water

preparation

    1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté the onion and garlic for 3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
    2. Add the Nadura* Mince and cook for 8 minutes, breaking up any chunks with a sturdy spatula.
    3. Add cumin, paprika, chili flakes, chili powder, and salt. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to toast the spices.
    4. Stir in the tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, and cocoa powder, mixing well to combine.
    5. Add the water, bay leaves, and black beans to the seasoned mince. Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
    6. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
    7. Serve hot with rice, sliced avocado, and lime wedges on the side.
