Ingredients

  • 225g Nadura* Meat-Free Mince, defrosted
  • 15g Olive Oil
  • 75g White Onion, finely diced
  • 10g Garlic Clove, minced
  • 50g Tomato Paste
  • 150g Plum Tomato, sliced
  • 50g Kale Leaves, Roughly Chopped 
  • 200g Ready-Rolled Puff Pastry Sheet
  • 2g Dried Mixed Herbs
  • 1g Chili Flakes
  • 1g Dried Sage (optional)
  • 15 ml plant-based milk (for brushing)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (fan) or 230°C (conventional).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the onions and garlic for 3–4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add the mince and sauté for 4 minutes, stirring to break it up.
  4. Add the tomato paste, herbs, and chili flakes. Season to taste. Cook for 5 minutes, adding a splash of water if needed.
  5. To assemble the galette, roll out the puff pastry onto a lined baking sheet. Spoon the filling into the center, leaving a 2.5–3 cm border. Fold the edges inward over the filling to create a rustic shape.
  6. Top with sliced tomato and kale. Season with sea salt and a drizzle of olive oil.
  7. Brush the edges with plant-based milk. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden and crisp.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  9. Enjoy with a side salad.
