Ingredients

  • 6 pcs Nadura* Chicken-Free Burgers, defrosted
  • Oil for Frying

 

Spiced Flour Mix

  • 120 grams Regular All-Purpose or Gluten-Free Flour
  • 50 grams Corn Flour
  • 15 grams Nutritional Yeast
  • 8 grams Onion Powder
  • 8 grams Garlic Powder
  • 5 grams Sea Salt
  • 3 grams Ground Black Pepper
  • 3 grams Paprika

 

Batter

  • 75 grams Chickpea Flour
  • 175 ml Ice Cold Water
  • 10 grams Sriracha Sauce

preparation

  1. Cut the chicken burger into strips, then shape them into small chunks.
  2. In a bowl, mix the spiced flour ingredients together and set aside.
  3. To prepare the batter, whisk the chickpea flour, cold water, and sriracha sauce in a medium bowl until smooth.
  4. Coat the chicken chunks in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  5. Dip each piece into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off.
  6. Dredge the pieces in flour again, shaking off any excess, then place them on a large plate. Repeat with the remaining pieces.
  7. Heat a deep-frying pan over medium heat and bring the oil to 170°C.
  8. Fry the battered pieces for 2–4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and place on a paper towel to drain. Repeat with the remaining pieces.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite sauce.
