Ingredients

  • 400g Nadura* Meat Free Burgers, thawed
  • 80g Red Onion, finely grated
  • 10g Garlic Clove, minced
  • 10g Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
  • 4g Seven Spice 
  • 1g Dried Mint 
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

 

Optional Glaze:

  • 10g olive oil
  • 5g pomegranate molasses
  • 3g maple syrup or date syrup

preparation

  1. In a mixing bowl, crumble the defrosted Nadura* burgers using your hands or a fork.
  2. Add the grated onion, garlic, herbs, and seven spice.
  3. Mix until the mixture is uniform.
  4. Shape into 12 small oval or cigar-shaped pieces (about 40g–45g each), or form into round patties.
  5. Place on a tray and chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to firm up.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium heat with a light coating of oil.
  7. Cook the kofta for 3–4 minutes per side, turning until evenly browned.
  8. Optionally, brush with the glaze mixture for extra flavor and sheen.
