Ingredients

 

  • 300g Nadura* Meat Free Burgers, defrosted
  • 10g Sunflower or Avocado Oil
  • 100g Red Onion, finely chopped
  • 12g Garlic, minced
  • 10g Ginger, grated
  • 30g Tomato purée 
  • 75g Plain Unsweetened Plant-Based Yogurt
  • 175g Water 
  • 1g Black Pepper 
  • Salt, or to taste

 

Spice Blend

  • 3g Ground Cumin 
  • 2g Ground Coriander 
  • 2g Paprika (Sweet or Smoked) 
  • 2g Garam Masala
  • 1g Ground Cinnamon

preparation

  1. Cut the defrosted Nadura* burgers and shape them into small, irregular chunks.
  2. In a pan, sauté the Nadura* chunks with a little oil for about 4 minutes, until lightly browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, heat some oil, then add the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 6–8 minutes, until soft and golden.
  4. Sprinkle in all the ground spices and stir for 1 minute to toast and release their flavor.
  5. Add the tomato purée and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Pour in the water and plant-based yogurt, and mix well.
  7. Return the cooked Nadura* chunks to the pan.
  8. Simmer uncovered on low heat for 10–12 minutes, until thick and saucy.
  9. Season with salt and black pepper.
