Enjoy the hearty flavors and juicy texture of a classic Meat-Free Burger, packed with 15g of plant protein and free from cholesterol or trans fats.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic and
cook for 4-5 minutes until softened.
Stir in ground fennel seeds, thyme, ground pepper, and cook for another 2
minutes until well combined and fragrant.
Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Stir in the breadcrumbs to
absorb excess moisture, along with fresh parsley.
Add the defrosted Nadura* Meat Free burgers into the cooled vegetable mixture.
Mix until well combined.
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Cut the pastry into strips.
Place a line of the sausage filling down the center of each strip, leaving space on
the sides to seal.
Fold the sides of the pastry over the filling and press them together to seal. You
can use a fork to crimp the edges or roll the pastry into a log to fully enclose the
filling.
Brush the top of each sausage roll with plant-based milk for a golden finish.
Bake the Sausage Rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 20-25 minutes,
until the pastry is golden brown and crispy.
Let the sausage rolls cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
